    Beijing’s Chaoyang District is rich in international education resources, with35international schools capable of providing a wide range of mainstream international curricula. The district aims to meet the di⁃verse educational needs of foreign chil⁃dren by creating an educational system that is advanced even by international stan⁃dard. In addition to international schools,foreigners also have the option of enroll⁃ing their children in over 500 regular schools at primary and secondary levels as well as kindergartens.

    Schools for children of foreign nationals

    朝阳区共有13所外籍人员子女学校（北京市共有17所），此类学校采用多元化教育理念，以国际课程为主，服务在京外国机构、外资企业、国际组织驻华机构和居留外国人子女在京接受教育的需求。

    Thereare 13schools (out of the total17in Beijing) in Chaoyang Dis⁃trict that specifically cater to children of foreign nationals. These schools follow adiverse educational philosophy and priori⁃tize international curricula. They aim to meet the educational needs of children of foreign nationals who are either working for foreign institutions, foreign-funded enterprises, the China office of international organizations, or have resi⁃dence permits in Beijing.

    Additionally,the three schools in Beijing that cater to the children of embassy staff are all located in Chaoy⁃ang District. These schools primarily admit children of embassy staff from respective countries as well as children of employees from Beijing- based for⁃eign enterprises.

    朝阳区外籍人员子女学校及使馆人员子女学校开设有A- level课程、AP课程、IB课程、IPC课程、澳大利亚高中课程、加拿大高中课程、法国课程、德国课程、韩国课程等国际课程。

    外国学生可以申请就读普通公办、民办中小学、幼儿园，并且可以参加学校为中国学生提供的所有教育活动。

    Foreignstudents can apply for en⁃rollment in regular primary and second⁃ary schools and kindergartens both pub⁃lic and private, and are fully eligible to participate in all the educational activi⁃ties that are available to Chinese stu⁃dents.

    There are also public schools with strong international features and rich ex⁃perience in the education of interna⁃tional students. One such example is the International Section of Fangcaodi International School, which has devel⁃oped textbooks such as Fangcao Hanyu, providing an integrated bilin⁃gual program tailor- made for interna⁃tional students.
